Top 4 Best Treatment Tables

  • Earthlite Spirit

This is the table that I use within my practice. I love the durability, comfort, and materials of this table. Earthlite uses “eco-friendly” materials and has a plush and sturdy feel. All of the tables they make are very high quality, I love the look of the wooden legs and opted for a “portable” style table. I like that I can fold the table into a neat package if I ever need to clear space in my clinic for workshops or to make space. It comes in 13 colors and three widths. I opted for the widest table of 32”, but if space is limited it is also available in 28 or 30 inches. The package comes with an adjustable face cradle/pillow and storage case. It also has a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the frame and construction and a 3-year warranty on the foam and upholstery.

    • Sturdy, yet lightweight

    • Very solid feeling and is easy to adjust

  • Earthlite Everest Tilt Hydraulic Table

This table is a bit more expensive, but is the cream of the crop! The hydraulic lift makes it more accessible to varying body types, abilities, and ages. If you do decide to get a lifted table most purchases are eligible for a 50% tax credit, in addition to being able to write off the other 50% as a business expense. An extra plus is that it makes your business more accessible under the American Disability Act and your practice more accessible to altered-abled individuals. The padding is a luxurious 3” padded foam, and the adjustable height ranges from 25”-37” inches. This table is extremely heavy so it is not ideal to be moved around much, weighing 273 lbs.

This is my dream table! I do not have one in my office (yet) but have worked with it in other clinics.

This is a great portable and comfortable table. This is a great option for body workers who work in various locations, do home visits, or need to move their table frequently. It is sturdy yet lightweight, and the price cannot be beat. Please note that it is called basic for a reason, as it does not come with any extra parts (such as a headrest, armrest, or carrying case. The pad is water/stain resistant and made from 2” high-density foam. Every SierraComfort table comes with a 2-year limited warranty. I would not pick this table for a stationary office situation, but is great for home visits! The tabletop dimensions are 73” L x 28” W, while the adjustable height ranges from 25.5” - 33.5”.

Treatment Room Accessories

When outfitting your office or clinic, there are a few other things that will make your patient’s experience way more comfortable.

  • Heating Pad

This EARTHLITE Massage Table Warmer & Fleece Pad- has three temperature settings and not only adds warmth but comfort from the extra loft of the pad. My patients rave about the warm comfortable table every time. This heating pad fits all full-sized massage tables (30”x72”) and comes with elastic corner straps that help hold the pad securely in place. There are two settings to control how warm you would like to keep the table. I use mine with almost every treatment.

  • Infrared Heating Lamp

Heat lamps are a very nice touch to a treatment and can help alleviate pain and anxiety. You want to make sure that you buy a nice one because cheaply made ones can malfunction and hurt the patient. This TDP lamp uses infrared heat waves and has a mineral plate so you don’t need to worry about bulbs and bulb replacements. The head is detachable if you ever need to replace it, but I have never had any issues with mine!

  • Comfortable Sheets

Laundry is a big part of a busy clinic. You may have a laundry service and won’t have to worry about this part, but if not then you’ll want to invest in a few sets of high-quality sheets that can withstand lots of laundering. My favorite types are organic cotton or microfiber. I feel that microfiber sheets are softer to the touch and stay clean and crisp looking for longer than the organic cotton style. This sheet set comes with a fitted sheet, a top sheet as well as a face cradle. It comes in a variety of colors to help match your decor too :)

  • Cushioned Face Cradle

I can’t even tell you how many times my patients comment on how comfortable my face cradle is! And when you are face down on a table for over half an hour this is really important. This small upgrade makes a huge difference. I just use a Fleece face cover on the cradle, and BAM, it’s way more comfy!
